THE WARD BELL 
 
Once bolted to the wall of a forgotten hospital ward, this bell was used to summon help when something went wrong. One pull meant panic, or danger. When the hospital closed, the ward emptied, and the bell was left behind. Security swore it would still ring with no one near it. 
 
Now The Ward Bell hangs silent until it decides otherwise. In performance it becomes a physical signal from the other side, sharp, sudden, and impossible to ignore. It doesn’t feel like a trick. It feels like an interruption. A warning. When it rings, the room goes quiet because bells like this were never meant to answer questions… only emergencies.
